Update from Mandie's Mom
Mandie is doing so well - like she's been here forever. I think we tired her out good yesterday between trips to Petsmart and Petco, several walks, and meeting grandma. We got her a jacket for the snow today and right now she is napping on the couch wrapped up her little blanky on her new dog bed :) She just couldn't be more perfect.

Update from Luke's Family
I wanted to update you on how Mr. Luke is doing. He continues to love being a part of our family and we couldn't be more in love. As my daughter tells me, "My love for you is infinite!" It's safe to say that statement applies to our wonderful Boston Terrier. Luke loves walking with me to the dog park that is down the street from our home. It's almost a daily ritual for us. He also enjoys sleeping in the bed with our 7 year old daughter most nights. They are the best of friends. Car rides were very scary for Luke for a couple of weeks. He would not willingly get into the car and once he was in, he shook the whole ride and appeared afraid. The only speculation I had about that was that he associated something negative with car rides, like being placed in another home. Whatever the reason, it broke my heart to see him so scared. I'm happy to report Luke has done a complete turn-around with car rides. My goal was to teach him that car rides didn't mean going away from his family. We have taken trips to the beach, he's gone fossil hunting with me at one of our local city parks along the Charleston Harbour (one of the pics I attached is from one of our fossil hunting adventures), and he's accompanied me to pick up the children from school. I wanted to show Luke that he was coming back to the same loving home after each car ride. Now he is no longer afraid and actually jumps into the car on his own. Sometimes I can't get the car door opened quickly enough! Thank you so much for what you do to rescue Bostons. If it was not for CCBTR, this precious fella would not be in our lives.

March Update from Princeton's Family
Thought you may like an update on Princeton. He is doing wonderful. He has pretty much taken over the house, especially the bed. He loves to play and takes great joy in destroying as many toys as he can. As you can see by the pictures, sleeping is his second favorite activity. He is a wonderful dog and has fit in great with our family.

March Update from Parker's Family
First of all, I would like to say that you hit the nail on the head when you said Parker was the right match for our family. He was the perfect match. We've had him for almost 5 months now, and there's no way any of us could love him more than we do. He is the sweetest dog and adores our older boy, Bean. He needs to lay with him or sleep with him all the time. When you sent the letter around Christmas time saying that Parker was lucky to have found us, it touched my mother so deeply. Thank you for choosing us.

Update from Juno's Family
It's been four months since we adopted Juno. She has fit in as if she's been with us all her life. We could not have gotten a better dog! She has so much of the same personality as our former Boston Terrier, Daisy. From the moment we picked her up, she found her place......in my lap! She loves cuddling with Scott or I at night in our chairs. When we go to bed, she is so sneaky! She starts at the foot of our bed on her own blanket and as the night goes on she inches her way slowly up between us until she's got her head on a pillow (as you can see below)! Lol!! She has laid claim to her back yard, going out and barking to let 'anyone' in the area know she's protecting her territory. We are so glad we found her at CCBTR! I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to adopt a BT to check you guys out. There's no doubt you have the dog's best interest at heart! Thank you for our 'little girl'!!.

March Update from Kyra's Mom
It has now been 9 months since Kyra joined our family. When Kyra first appeared on Facebook she was described as being terrified of life, unable to bond with anyone, human or animal. There was a question whether she would ever be “normal.” Well, let me tell you, Kyra is “normal” and more. I am not sure I have ever had a dog who demonstrates her love for me as enthusiastically as Kyra does. She greets me shrieking hysterically when I come home (maybe not a good habit but given her history there is no way I am going to make her stop). She sleeps with me under the covers every night, as close as she can get. She may always be timid but in her own home she is Queen Kyra, no fear. I thank CCBTR from the bottom of my heart for having the confidence in me to allow me to adopt her when she was considered by the animal shelter to be unadoptable. I love this little dog so much, and if possible she loves me even more.
This is Kyra and her brother Noah.

Update from Klaymore's Mom -
I just wanted to give an update on Klaymore. He is just great. He is such a joy! He and my oldest dog, Fisher, are really enjoying each other. We could not have asked for a better "fit" into our family. After being here a week, he now is allowed to stay out with Fisher while we are at work. He is sleeping and eating without any problems. We could tell he was not used to being handled and loved on too much, but it didn't take long for him to come around. It is like he was meant to be here with us. Nothing beats coming home to 2 loving Boston's every day! We thank you for your hard work and dedication to Boston Terrier's. We also thank you for your guidance and trust in us and for letting us have Klaymore.
